  Everyone knows that Goa is blessed with many rivers, lakes, beaches,  and natural beauty😍😻.  To facilitate proper water supply for farm irrigation and for household usage, Goa's department of water resources  created several minor irrigation tanks across the state. Amthane is one such project which provides irrigation water for nearby farms and also provides raw water supply to Asnora / Assonora treatment plant. Located in Bardez Taluka, AMTHANE DAM has successfully managed to stay off the tourist radar. Although, it is quite a popular location for locals who come here to enjoy a good swim and relax with their friends and family😇😀. The water reservoir surrounded by the small hills of the Sahyadri range creates a spectacular view, especially during sunset😍🌅. Mangrove Boardwalk

Goa famous for its beaches and parties, but it is also one of the greenest states in India with over one-third of the  area covered with green tropical forest. With the mighty Mandovi river giving life to the surrounding mangrove forests, Goa’s biodiversity is remarkable.  India’s second Mangrove Boardwalk opened in the heart of Panjim city. Located right behind the Goa State Central Library, this walk is an insight into the many types of mangrove species, the wildlife of the area, and a call for close interaction with nature. This first-of-its-kind walkway over the mangroves is for visitors to explore, discover and learn more about the flora and fauna of the region. Located over the Ourem Creek, this one is spread across 1,100 square metres and is free for all to visit. Opened to the public a while ago, one can go here anytime of the day to just walk around.

Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary

  After exploring north of goa it’s time to explore south goa and one of the famous place in south goa is Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. Away from the sunny beaches and happening shacks of South Goa, the Cortigao Wildlife Sanctuary entices you to a world of exotic flora and fauna. It boasts of varied wildlife species, including slender Loris, mouse deer, Indian pangolin, Malabar trogon, Malayan bittern, golden-back gliding snake, and many more. One of the prime attractions of the sanctuary is a treetop watchtower overlooking a watering hole. If you climb up the watchtower during dawn or dusk, you can watch many animals visiting the watering hole to quench their thirst. And now, that’s a sight you wouldn’t want to miss in a lifetime.

Butterfly beach

  Butterfly Beach is truly a hidden gem in South Goa. An unexploited paradise, this semi-circular bay is where you can spot millions of butterflies flying over the hilltop. Once you turn your attention to the turquoise water, you can spot goldfish and crabs playing about. You will have to take a boat ride to reach this beach as the land route demands you to undergo a challenging hike through the forest. I really want to visit butterfly beach and after hearing so much about the butterfly beach.

Satrem waterfall

  A place I would like to visit.  There are a lot of wonderful places I wish to visit. However, most of all I would like to visit is satrem waterfall. So if I get time, it would be great. Because I really like to see how the water flows from the top, the sound of water when it hits rocks, peace in nature, etc😇😍. To go to this waterfall we need to pass from the small village valpoi. After reaching the destination we need to walk a little to reach the actual destination😇. And one day I will visit the place😀.

I am an adventurous person I love to visit new-new places but the most favorite thing in my adventure is the SUNSET😍🌅. I love to see sunsets😻. The above picture of the sunset is from the ozrim bridge. And I believe that sunsets are proof that ending can be often beautiful too😇. Sunset is the time when the sun goes down and night begins. During the sunset, nature assumes fresh, bright, and charming. The sun seems to be a disc of gold😻💖. At the time of sunset, one can enjoy the serenity of a sunset. Then nature seems in a hurry. People finish their work and return home. Birds return to their nests🐦. When the sun sets, nature looks very beautiful. Then nature starts getting dark. The slight darkness of the sunset creates a feeling of joy and calm in us💞😊.

Butterfly point

  In my life, I have gone on many memorable trips😇. But this trip to Butterfly point was the most exciting and the best trip I went for😍. The butterfly point is at Chorla. To reach the butterfly point we need to walk  6 to 7 km🚶. While walking we had fun on the way and we also got tired  but after seeing thousands of the butterflies we were overwhelmed and our tiredness was vanished😀😇😻🦋. God has created the world with so many beautiful things and butterflies are one of them🦋. God cannot be present everywhere we go so he made butterflies which appear like angels to hold our hand through difficult times😍😇 .
